Inspired by my life in Japan and local lacquerware, this work mirrors the rhythm of the Earth — layering, eroding, shaping, slowly over time.

A life altering experience at an early age shaped my sense of time, space, and matter.

That critical event, along with years of practicing meditation and making art and has instilled a deep appreciation of stillness—and the silent force that runs through all things.
